- Ed Bond is project director on canine distemper for Kind Hearts In Action. He is a former copy editor and page designer at the Star-Gazette in Elmira, where he had been a reporter in the early 1990s. He has also written for the Asbury Park Press in New Jersey, the Indianapolis Star and the Los Angeles Times.
